Genny Hart

Genny is a highly specialist physiotherapist currently working at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She qualified in 2011 and has worked in two other large teaching hospitals including Guy’s and St Thomas’ and Leeds Teaching Hospitals. She has specialised in neuro-rehabilitation for over nine years.

Gent has expert assessment and treatment skills of individuals with a wide range of complex neurological conditions including stroke, traumatic brain injuries and progressive conditions such as MS and ataxia. She is trained in the use of functional electrical stimulation (FES) and provision of off the shelf orthoses to aid walking. She has completed courses in spasticity management, basic Bobath course and NOI group Explain Pain.

Genny is passionate about empowering people to engage in regular physical activity to help them to improve their quality of life, functional abilities and to achieve their goals.
